Clean, minimalist, simple, elegant. Everything is easy to find, and the menus are easy to navigate; vivid graphics make it nice and gentle on eyes. 4 stars, because Ive experienced jitteriness on some of the pages, even on an IPad Air 2. A magnificent guide around the museum. Some audio problems need to be resolved, but its definitely great to begin with. To Who(m)soever made this: Fantastic work! :)

Get error message to check your internet connection

Good update! Finally a way to search the coll! Shame its just a Web link - makes it choppy and interrupts the user experience. Shouldnt it be relatively easy to pull the json data directly into the app, and not as a Web frame?

This app is a really helpful way to plan your visits to the Met and to find your way once you get there. It has an intuitive, visually-oriented interface. Its not all things to all people: it wont help you interact with staff at the Met but it goes a long way towards letting you know what there is to see, how long things will be up, and where they are located in the warren of rooms which is the Met. Great work.

There is not enough information supplied by this app. If you are trying to get from one area to another, this app is no help. A kind of GPS locator that indicates where you are would be very helpful. The information points on the map do not give you any information.

The Met is a fantastic place, but use the paper booklets they hand out, and not this app. The only semi-functional part of this program is the maps, but theyre not even high res! What good is a blurry map while Im in the museum? Dont waste space downloading this.

The other functions of this app are acceptable (searching the collection, current exhibits, etc), but I downloaded this mostly for the map. The museum across the park (AMNH) has a wonderful app that uses bluetooth to find your location within the museum and helps to guide the visitor to a certain part. If the Met updates their app with this exact feature, it would make downloads increase and its use much more functional.

Great app, especially the map

Im very excited about this app and its contents, but it keeps crashing.

I only wish I would remember that I had it when I was at the museum! I always take a paper copy. In any case, this is quite a wonderful app. I love the little curated sets of works they have for you to explode. A cool addition would be to add a way to search for art and have directions to it through the app.

To save favorites you have to register. So I registered but when I tried signing in on the app to save favorites while at the museum, it wouldnt let me sign in making the app useless for this feature.

Hard to navigate. Cant find info on self-guided tours or audio tours. Almost impossible to figure out how to rate. Very poor.

Then when I tried to reopen it, it locked up my iPhone 6s entirely. Back to the drawing board!

Crashes.

The app is functioning on my iPad but with the new update it no longer opens on my iPhone. Please fix this.

As soon as I tap on the app it crashes. This needs fixing!
